Countdown for Kids

Okay so I don't know who is more excited to go to sea world, me or my kids! So I made this countdown to give them, and me, a visual of how long until we go. This is SO easy to do and a great way to help countdown to vacations, birthdays, anniversaries (for those forgetful husbands) ANYTHING!!

I love this girl I just had to throw her in!!

Holy Cow It's May??

Wow so where did April go? Anyone?? I can't believe it is already May and summer is here!! In honor of that, lets get our 4th of July projects done early!! All Red, White and Blue are now 15% off!! Hurry this ends June 10th!

Room Makeover

So my baby girl is no longer a baby so a couple of weeks ago I decided to redo her room. Now we are not what you would call loaded by any means so I knew going and getting paint and a bunch of other stuff would be out of the question. So I went ahead and did polka dots. Heres the steps:

This is the before picture. This is her baby room.
These butterflies were stenciled on by me and I hate to cover them up but oh well!

Step one: I measured the butterflies and cut dots big enough to cover them up

Step Two: I cut 3 smaller sizes of dots and filled in around the bigger dots.
My 3 year old actually helped me in this and had a lot of fun doing it!

The good thing about the dots is I am not sure how much longer we will be on our house but I think, and I'll let you know if this works, I can take them off the wall and put them on wax paper to transport them and re-use them. We'll see!! The other nice thing about this room make-over was it took me about 15 minutes to hang everything up and probably would have cost less than $50. She loves her big girl room and we had fun doing it together!!
